Budapest, Hungary – June 16, 2021Balcony Softworks, developers of the old-fashioned tactical RPG Balrum, alongside indie publisher These awesome guys, of Move or die and Monster Ball fame are preparing for the first public screening of Deepest chamber, with free public demo this week and a Early access release July 22, 2021!

Descend into the depths!

Deepest chamber is a single player deck building card game with roguelike elements that takes place in a dark fantasy thematic world. The player is tasked with overcoming an increasingly difficult descent into the murky depths of a dying medieval city.

Build your deck from a mix of different capacity cards, grab for practical consumables Where ancient mighty trinkets and uncover the story of an array of mysterious characters who may turn out to be friends or foes.

Deepest Chamber, part of Steam Next Fest!

We are happy to announce that Deepest chamber will finally be playable for the first time in a public environment for Steam Next Fest!

Players will enjoy a good taste of the first zone, out of a total of three that will be available in the final version 1.0 of the game. strong replayability factor, the demo should provide players with enough content to experiment with builds and strategies for at least 2-3 hours.

The demo will currently only be available to the public between June 16-22, as part of Steam’s annual summer digital showcase.

Live an intriguing and mysterious story

A mysterious magic dome now covers the city and a horrible pestilence disease is spreading among the townspeople, who have been forced to leave their homes and take refuge underground.

Very soon they will realize that this can never be a permanent solution, because the basement turns out to be just as inhospitable like what’s left above the ground.

You will lead a group of former city guards and reformed scoundrels in order to find a way out of the misery that seems to have swallowed them all up.

In the depths, you will be meet friends and foes as they search for resources and continue to dig deeper and deeper.

You fear death once but not anymore, because every time your group dies, they are brought back to continue their endless struggle.

Coming to Steam Early Access on July 22, 2021

Deepest chamber is a solo card-battler deckbuilding which is easy to access, but also with enough depth which makes it difficult to master.

The multitude of cards, trinkets, consumables, enemies and general mechanics provide enough variety and replayability to keep you coming back for more. It will also feature a customization of the type of execution system that offers you the possibility to choose between two different modes: Normal runs and The quest runs.

There will be no class restrictions! Having the ability to access the entire arsenal of the group gives you the opportunity to focus on the synergistic bridging side. Their game will also feature dozens of unlocks this await you in the depths, including new maps, trinkets, elite monsters, bosses and even more difficult difficulty levels.

Deepest chamber will officially be released in Steam Early Access to July 22, 2021.
