TAMPA, FL – Shufflrr, a presentation management solutions company, has moved from New York to Tampa.

The company has established its operations at Embarc Collective, 802 E. Whiting St., Tampa, and plans to create 30 jobs over the next three years in roles such as sales, business development and account management.

Co-founded by the brother-in-law team of James Ontra and AlexAnndra Ontra, Shufflrr is a presentation management solution that empowers businesses to better manage content and tell their story.

In Shufflrr, each file is formatted as a slide, ready to be presented. It keeps messaging, branding, images and data more in sync in a gallery of presentations, allowing groups like sales and training teams to easily share files, build decks, and display presentations from any device, anywhere.

“Tampa offers a lower cost of living and fewer trade barriers, which will position us better to grow Shufflrr over the next several years,” said James Ontra, CEO of Shufflrr. “We visited several cities and were won over by Tampa’s business-friendly environment and growing technology ecosystem. We are excited to plant roots in Tampa and grow our operations from this vibrant community. “

This project was made possible in partnership with Embarc Collective and the Tampa Bay Economic Development Council.

Shufflrr joins a growing list of tech companies that have recently relocated or expanded their operations in Tampa and Hillsborough County, including Drift, JustProtect, TrustLayer, OPSWAT and Fast.

“AlexAnndra and James bring tremendous market experience across the country to Tampa Bay,” said Lakshmi Shenoy, CEO of Embarc Collective. “They have been a welcome addition to the growing community of startups that we see locally.”

“Tampa is emerging as a destination of choice for talented tech entrepreneurs looking for a better quality of life and a more user-friendly business environment to grow their tech businesses,” said James Nozar, president of Tampa Bay Economic Development Council and strategic advisor to the board of directors of Strategic Partenaires immobilière. “We are delighted to welcome Shufflrr to Tampa, and we look forward to supporting them as they scale up their operations here.”

Shufflrr is already becoming an active member of the Tampa startup and tech ecosystem. AlexAnndra Ontra is part of the TechWomen Rising Tampa Bay Wave Accelerator and was featured at Demo Day Thursday.

The Ontra have been collaborating since 2000 in the development and marketing of presentation software.

They founded their own company, Ontra Presentations, in 2002. Over the years, they have developed several presentation applications for hundreds of Fortune clients.
